Practical Integrated Development Planning
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through consequence management and revenue management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with council procedure, annual reporting and audit action planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring council procedure into line with current good practice, measured against the PFMA
- Improve annual reporting within their own organisation
- Make a decision about audit action planning without waiting for a specialist
- Explain intergovernmental relations to someone who does not do the work
