Practical Internal Audit
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through scenario analysis and risk assessment methodology on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: boards are being asked to evidence oversight, not merely assert it, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with compliance monitoring, risk culture and control design in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain compliance monitoring to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Basel framework
- Review risk culture and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about control design without waiting for a specialist
- Improve key risk indicators within their own organisation
