Practical Legal Risk Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through competition law and regulatory compliance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: commercial teams routinely sign obligations that legal only sees after a dispute, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with service level agreements, commercial law fundamentals and cross-border contracting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring service level agreements into line with current good practice, measured against King IV
- Spot where commercial law fundamentals is failing before it becomes a finding
- Take ownership of cross-border contracting rather than escalating it
- Review data protection under POPIA and say plainly whether it is working
