Practical Records Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through service delivery planning and public participation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with irregular expenditure, annual reporting and intergovernmental relations in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve irregular expenditure within their own organisation, measured against the MFMA
- Put annual reporting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about intergovernmental relations without waiting for a specialist
- Spot where integrated development planning is failing before it becomes a finding
