Practical Revenue Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through council procedure and records management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with revenue management, supply chain compliance in government and intergovernmental relations in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve revenue management within their own organisation, measured against the Municipal Systems Act
- Take ownership of supply chain compliance in government rather than escalating it
- Bring intergovernmental relations into line with current good practice
- Review public participation and say plainly whether it is working
