Practical Risk Register Design
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through risk reporting to the board and risk identification on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with control testing, regulatory reporting and risk culture in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve control testing within their own organisation, measured against COSO ERM
- Spot where regulatory reporting is failing before it becomes a finding
- Review risk culture and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of business continuity planning rather than escalating it
