Third Party Risk: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through scenario analysis and risk identification on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with regulatory reporting, control design and business continuity planning in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Make a decision about regulatory reporting without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Basel framework
  • Put control design on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Explain business continuity planning to someone who does not do the work
  • Bring third party risk into line with current good practice
