Practical Spend Analysis
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through category management and ethical sourcing on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing and contract negotiation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring supplier relationship management into line with current good practice, measured against the PFMA and MFMA supply chain regulations
- Spot where strategic sourcing is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve contract negotiation within their own organisation
- Take ownership of warehouse operations rather than escalating it
