Practical Stakeholder Management for Projects
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through stakeholder communication and scheduling on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with portfolio prioritisation, earned value management and work breakdown structure in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring portfolio prioritisation into line with current good practice, measured against earned value management
- Make a decision about earned value management without waiting for a specialist
- Improve work breakdown structure within their own organisation
- Explain resource planning to someone who does not do the work
