Practical Supply Chain Risk
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through ethical sourcing and demand planning on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with warehouse operations, category management and e-procurement systems in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put warehouse operations on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the CIPS professional standard
- Review category management and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain e-procurement systems to someone who does not do the work
- Improve supplier relationship management within their own organisation
