Practical Warehouse Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through demand planning and supplier relationship management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: category spend is one of the few remaining places to find margin without cutting headcount, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with ethical sourcing, tender evaluation and strategic sourcing in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain ethical sourcing to someone who does not do the work, measured against the PFMA and MFMA supply chain regulations
- Improve tender evaluation within their own organisation
- Bring strategic sourcing into line with current good practice
- Put inventory optimisation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
