Safety Management Systems: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through waste management and environmental impact assessment on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with contractor safety management, incident investigation and occupational hygiene in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about contractor safety management without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Spot where incident investigation is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve occupational hygiene within their own organisation
- Explain working at height to someone who does not do the work
