Supplier Relationship Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through category management and tender evaluation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with ethical sourcing, supplier development and demand planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring ethical sourcing into line with current good practice, measured against the PFMA and MFMA supply chain regulations
- Spot where supplier development is failing before it becomes a finding
- Explain demand planning to someone who does not do the work
- Review logistics management and say plainly whether it is working
