Supply Chain Risk: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through spend analysis and contract negotiation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with strategic sourcing, supply risk assessment and bid adjudication in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of strategic sourcing rather than escalating it, measured against the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
- Spot where supply risk assessment is failing before it becomes a finding
- Review bid adjudication and say plainly whether it is working
- Put supplier performance measurement on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
