Contract Administration: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through ethical sourcing and e-procurement systems on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with strategic sourcing, spend analysis and contract negotiation in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain strategic sourcing to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
  • Take ownership of spend analysis rather than escalating it
  • Spot where contract negotiation is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Put supply risk assessment on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
