Business Continuity: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through risk identification and internal audit interface on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: boards are being asked to evidence oversight, not merely assert it, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with control design, operational risk and risk reporting to the board in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring control design into line with current good practice, measured against the Basel framework
- Review operational risk and say plainly whether it is working
- Put risk reporting to the board on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Improve third party risk within their own organisation
