Executive Decision Making: Tools and Techniques
5 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through board reporting and leading distributed teams on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: board expectations of executive communication have risen sharply, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with strategic planning, succession at executive level and corporate governance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve strategic planning within their own organisation, measured against the balanced scorecard
- Explain succession at executive level to someone who does not do the work
- Review corporate governance and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of performance dialogue rather than escalating it
