Practical Contract Administration
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through contract negotiation and strategic sourcing on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with contract administration, supplier performance measurement and ethical sourcing in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put contract administration on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the CIPS professional standard
- Explain supplier performance measurement to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where ethical sourcing is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve supplier development within their own organisation
