Practical Contract Negotiation
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through contract administration and logistics management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supplier development, tender evaluation and contract negotiation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve supplier development within their own organisation, measured against the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
- Put tender evaluation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring contract negotiation into line with current good practice
- Explain supply risk assessment to someone who does not do the work
