Practical Sustainable Procurement
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through contract administration and spend analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supply risk assessment, supplier development and logistics management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where supply risk assessment is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against ISO 20400 on sustainable procurement
- Make a decision about supplier development without waiting for a specialist
- Put logistics management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of category management rather than escalating it
