Practical Debtors and Credit Control

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through internal controls and revenue recognition on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with lease accounting, cost allocation and working capital management in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where lease accounting is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against GRAP for public entities
  • Take ownership of cost allocation rather than escalating it
  • Review working capital management and say plainly whether it is working
  • Bring consolidation into line with current good practice
