Practical Demand Planning
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through supplier relationship management and contract negotiation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: supply disruption has become a standing operational risk rather than an exception, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with bid adjudication, demand planning and category management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain bid adjudication to someone who does not do the work, measured against the PFMA and MFMA supply chain regulations
- Take ownership of demand planning rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about category management without waiting for a specialist
- Bring contract administration into line with current good practice
