Practical Project Quality Management

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through change control and project initiation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with project reporting, resource planning and work breakdown structure in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain project reporting to someone who does not do the work, measured against PRINCE2
  • Bring resource planning into line with current good practice
  • Make a decision about work breakdown structure without waiting for a specialist
  • Take ownership of scope definition rather than escalating it
