Project Cost Control Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether work breakdown structure and project initiation are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because organisations run more projects than they have capacity to govern. Delegates leave able to work confidently with scope definition, cost estimation and project reporting in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain scope definition to someone who does not do the work, measured against PRINCE2
  • Review cost estimation and say plainly whether it is working
  • Take ownership of project reporting rather than escalating it
  • Put lessons learned on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
