Warehouse Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through warehouse operations and spend analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: supply disruption has become a standing operational risk rather than an exception, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supply risk assessment, total cost of ownership and category management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve supply risk assessment within their own organisation, measured against ISO 20400 on sustainable procurement
- Take ownership of total cost of ownership rather than escalating it
- Review category management and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about tender evaluation without waiting for a specialist
