Advanced PMO Setup and Operation
5 days|Delivered on request
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into quality assurance, risk registers and the judgement calls that sit outside earned value management. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing. Delegates leave able to work confidently with portfolio prioritisation, project reporting and critical path analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review portfolio prioritisation and say plainly whether it is working, measured against earned value management
- Put project reporting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where critical path analysis is failing before it becomes a finding
- Take ownership of work breakdown structure rather than escalating it
