Construction Project Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through change control and stakeholder communication on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: organisations run more projects than they have capacity to govern, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with agile and scrum practice, scheduling and cost estimation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of agile and scrum practice rather than escalating it, measured against the PMBOK guide
- Put scheduling on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Review cost estimation and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about project reporting without waiting for a specialist
