Inventory Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through category management and logistics management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: supply disruption has become a standing operational risk rather than an exception, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supply risk assessment, bid adjudication and supplier development in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain supply risk assessment to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 20400 on sustainable procurement
- Put bid adjudication on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where supplier development is failing before it becomes a finding
- Make a decision about supplier relationship management without waiting for a specialist
