Monitoring and Evaluation: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through resource planning and project reporting on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with agile and scrum practice, cost estimation and risk registers in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain agile and scrum practice to someone who does not do the work, measured against the PMBOK guide
- Improve cost estimation within their own organisation
- Make a decision about risk registers without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of scheduling rather than escalating it
