Project Documentation: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through project reporting and critical path analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with project closure, cost estimation and resource planning in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain project closure to someone who does not do the work, measured against the PMBOK guide
  • Review cost estimation and say plainly whether it is working
  • Improve resource planning within their own organisation
  • Take ownership of scheduling rather than escalating it
