Performance Management for Non-Specialists

2 days|Delivered on request

Performance Management for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through remuneration and benefits and grievance handling without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because workforce planning has moved from an administrative task to a board level concern, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with disciplinary procedure, psychometric assessment and organisational design in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Take ownership of disciplinary procedure rather than escalating it, measured against the Skills Development Act
  • Explain psychometric assessment to someone who does not do the work
  • Spot where organisational design is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review workforce planning and say plainly whether it is working
