Practical Corporate Governance
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through delegation and accountability and executive presence on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: the gap between a stated strategy and what the organisation actually does is where most value is lost, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with innovation leadership, succession at executive level and board reporting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review innovation leadership and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the King IV governance code
- Put succession at executive level on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring board reporting into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about executive decision making without waiting for a specialist
