Practical Crisis Communication
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through reputation measurement and stakeholder mapping on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with issues management, spokesperson training and content planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about issues management without waiting for a specialist, measured against established corporate communication practice
- Bring spokesperson training into line with current good practice
- Take ownership of content planning rather than escalating it
- Review brand positioning and say plainly whether it is working
