Practical Delegation and Empowerment
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through leading distributed teams and innovation leadership on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: board expectations of executive communication have risen sharply, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with delegation and accountability, succession at executive level and corporate governance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where delegation and accountability is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the King IV governance code
- Put succession at executive level on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Review corporate governance and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about mergers and integration without waiting for a specialist
