Practical Project Coordination
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through earned value management and resource planning on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: organisations run more projects than they have capacity to govern, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with scope definition, quality assurance and lessons learned in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain scope definition to someone who does not do the work, measured against the PMBOK guide
- Improve quality assurance within their own organisation
- Make a decision about lessons learned without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of agile and scrum practice rather than escalating it
