Practical Project Scheduling

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through project initiation and risk registers on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with scope definition, project closure and change control in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review scope definition and say plainly whether it is working, measured against PRINCE2
  • Take ownership of project closure rather than escalating it
  • Improve change control within their own organisation
  • Put critical path analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
