Practical Speech Writing
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through press release writing and spokesperson training on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with campaign planning, interview technique and speech writing in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put campaign planning on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against established corporate communication practice
- Spot where interview technique is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring speech writing into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about media relations without waiting for a specialist
