Practical Supplier Development

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through contract negotiation and supplier performance measurement on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: supply disruption has become a standing operational risk rather than an exception, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supplier development, logistics management and contract administration in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put supplier development on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
  • Take ownership of logistics management rather than escalating it
  • Spot where contract administration is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review demand planning and say plainly whether it is working
