Social Media Strategy: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through internal communication and crisis communication on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an organisation's reputation is now formed faster than its communications function can respond, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with speech writing, investor communication and spokesperson training in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put speech writing on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
- Make a decision about investor communication without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of spokesperson training rather than escalating it
- Explain community engagement to someone who does not do the work
