Business Writing: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through crisis communication and press release writing on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: spokespeople are frequently appointed without ever having been trained, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with investor communication, social media strategy and media relations in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review investor communication and say plainly whether it is working, measured against stakeholder mapping methodology
  • Put social media strategy on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Bring media relations into line with current good practice
  • Spot where communication auditing is failing before it becomes a finding
