Content Strategy: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through communication auditing and community engagement on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: spokespeople are frequently appointed without ever having been trained, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with press release writing, issues management and spokesperson training in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review press release writing and say plainly whether it is working, measured against established corporate communication practice
  • Bring issues management into line with current good practice
  • Make a decision about spokesperson training without waiting for a specialist
  • Take ownership of investor communication rather than escalating it
