Employment Equity for Managers
3 days|Delivered on request
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers disciplinary procedure and skills development planning from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because workforce planning has moved from an administrative task to a board level concern, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with talent acquisition, employment equity reporting and workforce planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring talent acquisition into line with current good practice, measured against the Ulrich HR business partner model
- Review employment equity reporting and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain workforce planning to someone who does not do the work
- Take ownership of onboarding design rather than escalating it
