Industrial Relations: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through performance management and organisational design on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: organisations are being asked to prove the return on their people spend, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with employee relations, talent acquisition and skills development planning in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve employee relations within their own organisation, measured against the Employment Equity Act
  • Spot where talent acquisition is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Explain skills development planning to someone who does not do the work
  • Take ownership of onboarding design rather than escalating it
