Issues Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through community engagement and internal communication on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with campaign planning, message development and reputation measurement in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put campaign planning on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against stakeholder mapping methodology
- Take ownership of message development rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about reputation measurement without waiting for a specialist
- Spot where issues management is failing before it becomes a finding
