Practical Communication Measurement

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through media relations and reputation measurement on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: spokespeople are frequently appointed without ever having been trained, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with stakeholder mapping, crisis communication and message development in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review stakeholder mapping and say plainly whether it is working, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
  • Take ownership of crisis communication rather than escalating it
  • Put message development on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Explain investor communication to someone who does not do the work
