Practical Spokesperson Skills
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through message development and reputation measurement on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with speech writing, media relations and crisis communication in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of speech writing rather than escalating it, measured against stakeholder mapping methodology
- Bring media relations into line with current good practice
- Explain crisis communication to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where content planning is failing before it becomes a finding
