Practical Community Relations
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through content planning and crisis communication on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an organisation's reputation is now formed faster than its communications function can respond, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with brand positioning, communication auditing and spokesperson training in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of brand positioning rather than escalating it, measured against established corporate communication practice
- Improve communication auditing within their own organisation
- Spot where spokesperson training is failing before it becomes a finding
- Explain media relations to someone who does not do the work
