Practical Press Office Management

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through content planning and message development on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with media relations, spokesperson training and interview technique in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain media relations to someone who does not do the work, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
  • Improve spokesperson training within their own organisation
  • Bring interview technique into line with current good practice
  • Put campaign planning on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
