Practical Project Risk Management

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through lessons learned and risk registers on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with agile and scrum practice, scope definition and change control in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where agile and scrum practice is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the PMBOK guide
  • Review scope definition and say plainly whether it is working
  • Bring change control into line with current good practice
  • Put project closure on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
