Practical Skills Development
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through onboarding design and organisational design on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: workforce planning has moved from an administrative task to a board level concern, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with CCMA preparation, disciplinary procedure and job evaluation and grading in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put CCMA preparation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the Skills Development Act
- Spot where disciplinary procedure is failing before it becomes a finding
- Explain job evaluation and grading to someone who does not do the work
- Review change management and say plainly whether it is working
